Halloween Party

Edible Eyeballs

These I found on brittablvd.com she has some of the most amazing party ideas!! the recipe link is below.
http://www.BrittaBlvd.com/Halloween/recipes.html#eyeballs. this version uses gelatin with food coloring for the iris.

This version uses pudding with gummy lifesavers for the iris.

I hope to somehow combine the two to make the ultimate edible eyeball

Ghoulish Drinks

Frog Juice
This is my latest punch called "Frog Juice"
It has the most amazing green color!
I came up with it for a party we had in may celebrating the life and works of Jim Henson for the 22nd anniversary of his death. sadness :'(  hints the name frog juice.

Frog Juice
1 jug of the green berry Hawaiian Punch
2 two liters of Mt Dew
1 can Dole pineapple juice
(I don't suggest using off brand for this because it alters the taste)
1 can frozen lemonade
lime sorbet

This punch has a wonderful effect when put in a cauldron with dry ice especially when fresh because the punch bubbles and fizzes when the sorbet is melting.
*Keep in mind that dry ice can damage plastic so put it in a bigger punch bowl inside the cauldron then the punch in a smaller punch bowl inside that. the Punch and dry ice CAN NOT TOUCH!
DO NOT TOUCH THE DRY ICE WITH YOUR BARE HANDS! IT WILL BURN YOU!

I made another version of this drink for a Repo the Genetic Opera party.
There I replaced the green Hawaiian punch for the Blue.
the regular Mt Dew for the Voltage
and omitted the sorbet
Zydrate

I used two clear punch bowls inside one another the punch in the small and tonic water surrounding it in the large then put black lights behind the bowls making it glow a bright blue.
This was our edible Zydrate for all those Repo fans out there.
*you can switch the hawaiian punch flavors and pop depending on what effect your going for. please do experiment and let me know what you think.

I suggest using cool bottle labels like these
you can buy some or make your own.

Also tonic water is a great addition to any bar decoration with its fantastic glow
